What Corner 17 holds about the people who work here, and what we do with it.
This notice covers the personal information Corner 17 holds about the people who work here: what is in the Corner 17 Hub at teamc17.com, and what is in the text messages we send. It is written for our own crew, because that is who is in it. Corner 17 does not run a customer account system and does not hold guest data here.
It comes from you, from your manager, and from the scheduling and payroll systems the shops already run on.
Running the shops and employing you. Building the schedule, paying you correctly, training you, keeping the place safe, answering your questions, and keeping the records an employer is required by law to keep.
Not for advertising. We do not profile you, we do not sell anything derived from your record, and we do not use your information to market to you or to anybody else.
This section is the one the mobile carriers ask about, so it is stated plainly.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
In plain words: we do not sell your phone number and we never will. The only outside companies that see it are Twilio, which carries the message, and your own mobile carrier, which delivers it. Neither is allowed to use it for anything else.
Your agreement to be texted, and your taking it back, are held here and used for nothing except deciding whether to send you a message. How the texting itself works is set out at https://teamc17.com/terms.
Inside Corner 17, access follows your role. Your manager and general manager see what they need to run your store. The owners see everything. Whoever runs payroll sees hours and pay. The Hub enforces this in the database itself, not just on the screen, so a page nobody is cleared for returns nothing at all.
Outside Corner 17, only the companies that make the thing work: the host that runs the site, the database, the mail service that sends our letters, Twilio for texts, and the payroll and scheduling systems. Each one sees only what its job needs, and none of them may use it for their own purposes. We share your information with anybody else only when the law requires it, or when you have asked us to.
While you work here, and afterwards for as long as employment, tax, and safety law require us to keep it. Records we are not required to keep are deleted when they stop being useful.
Your mobile number comes off the texting list the moment you opt out, whatever else we are still required to hold.

The Hub requires a sign-in, access is granted by role, and the keys to the outside services live on the server where no browser can reach them. Text messages are sent over the carriers' own network.
No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong with your information, we will tell you.
This is a workplace system, for people who work here. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Where somebody we employ is under 18, we hold their information under the same rules as everybody else, and their parent or guardian may ask about it.
We may update this notice. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and a change that matters is told to the team rather than quietly posted.
